To develop the scene here in Leeds our beginners’ class will each week incorporate the most important elements:

  • connection
  • leading from the centre
  • weight changes
  • the basic
  • variations of the basic. 

These are considered to be the foundation of the dance and are so important that the best Balboa dancers in the world practice them regularly. This means that new people can join our classes at any time and still get a feel for the dance in their first session.
